My washing machine broke.. Seriously it no longer agitated. Which in turn made me agitated. Darn thing was whining for a week and I kept praying and asking it nicely to wait just 3 more weeks. But nope. It died. Went to the great big washing machine heaven.
My choices were limited. We didn't have a budget but we didn't want this
Off we went to Sears for a "cost effective" model. So no bells and whistles, no front loader for Jenny.
We now have a new washing machine.
and it will be here on Sunday.. 7 days.
Thank goodness for Mother in Laws houses. Shhh don't tell her :) 9 hours in a house being forced to do laundry makes for a very clean pile and pile and pile..

Oh crap! Thank goodness for MIL!
I keep hoping mine will die, but for 16 yrs is has been going strong.
Hope your new one is a good one!
Yep it was the only time my MIL doesn't drive me nuts.. since she's in France now lol
I can not function without my washer, dryer, or dishwasher.
Well.... I could....
but it wouldn't be pretty....
I have one of those old washboards and I use it all the time for scrubbing my hubby's work shirts before I toss them in the washer. It could come in handy in a pinch, like when the washer breaks down.
i would die without my washer! it happened once and i almost lost it! never again....
My washer dying is one of my worst fears. Seriously. At the rate my family churns out dirty clothes, we'd be in big trouble within 24 hours!
Also, I thought you were a saint to hang at you MIL's all day doing laundry. Just read through the comments and see she's in France! LOL!
Yeah I'm not insane. I wouldn't be able to handle 9 hours with my MIL. So it worked out perfectly. :)
